Liv Raphael

Associate

Liv is a coach, trainer, facilitator, and consultant, specialized in collaborative leadership, supporting leaders and teams in understanding, and navigating complex and rapidly changing environments to contribute more fully towards building a sustainable economy.

Liv has worked for the last ten years with TPI on a variety of projects, originally as a core team member and presently as an Associate, managing, and contributing to the delivery of TPI’s work with INGOs, government, UN organizations, foundations, and private sector companies.

She originally comes from the private sector, where she worked largely in innovation within the health and nutrition space. This led her to appreciate the potential of cross sector partnerships, and the private sector’s vital role in achieving sustainable development. Working in partnership with key stakeholders, she also became aware of the challenges involved in collaborative work, and the need to build and nurture the right skills, structures, processes, and environments for effective collaboration to flourish and be sustained.

Liv holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University (Canada), an MBA from ESADE business School (Spain) and an MSc in Environment & Development from the London School of Economics (UK) and is fluent in French, English, and Spanish. She is TPI certified, has followed partnership brokering training (PBAS level 1) and holds a post graduate certificate in Systems Thinking in Practice from the Open University (UK). She is also a certified personal and executive coach, trained at the Coaching Academy in the UK.
