Todd Kirkbride

Todd has over 25 years of designing, facilitating, and implementing public-private partnerships for development and promoting private sector engagement in emerging markets for multinational corporations, international donors, foundations, non-profits and entrepreneurial start-up ventures. He is an internationally recognized collaborator in partnership brokering, training and coaching, organization enhancement, market assessments and directing partnership platforms across industries such as renewable energy, agriculture, mining, mobile technology solutions, tourism and manufacturing.

In his most recent senior leadership roles at Pact Inc. and Land O’Lakes Venture37, Todd rebuilt their private sector engagement teams revitalizing organizational growth trajectory by developing global partnership strategies that advanced food systems transformation, climate resilience, and inclusive economic growth. Over the course of his career, Todd has raised more than $110 million in new funding through strategic partnership and project development across sectors. His business development success is a result of acute strategic program design leaderships that has consistently prioritized results-based management, knowledge sharing, and the integration of social equity principles.

Todd has also led a successful PSE/partnership consulting practice for over 7 years (from DC and Kosovo) advising clients on how to maximize their organizations’ goals through a shared value and inclusive business approach. This includes leading a dozen Private Sector Landscape Assessments and Private Sector Engagement strategies for USAID Missions. Other clients have included the World Bank, Global Alliance for Improving Nutrition, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, UNDP and a host of INGO’s where he has delivered strategic consulting services, Fit for Partnering trainings, and partnership facilitation.

Prior to this, Todd has worked full-time for other organizations such as Resonance, The Partnering Initiative, Technoserve, USAID (PSE Lab), and Chemonics. He has earned an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and worked in over 40 countries with long-term assignments in Mozambique and Kosovo. He currently lives in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and two children.
