Millennium Development Goals Conference

Summit-Logo-2013-NewOn 29th May 2013 at Kings Place, London, UK, a Business focused Millennium Development Goals Conference  will be held to encourage increased communication between Government, UN organisations, NGOs and the private sector.

The Partnering Initiative’s Darian Stibbe will be speaking on: ‘Driving Effective Collaboration for a Sustainable Future: The Role of Cross-Sector Partnerships in the post-2015 Agenda’. Follow @TPI_tweets for live updates.

The conference, themed: Sustainable Business Solutions That Deliver Change, is set to be platform for all stakeholders to share ideas and also learn about new technologies and processes that contribute to the attainment of the MDG Goals. Over two days, the program will move through three broad topic areas:

  • Sustainable Business Solutions That Deliver Change
  • Defining the post 2015 development Agenda
  • Putting Women at the Centre of the Economic Transformation

Private Sector solutions will cover areas such as: Water & Sanitation, Health & Pharmaceutical, Education, Information Technology (ICT) as a developmental tool, Construction & Development, Transport & Logistics, Gender & Equality, Food and Agriculture, and Energy & Environmental Issues.
