Certificate in Partnering Practice open to Partners In Action alumni

TPI’s Certificate in Partnering Practice is now open for registration for participants who took part in the ‘Partners in Action’ training scheme which was run in collaboration with the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) between 2005 and 2008.

The programme trained over 350 participants from around 40 UN agencies, as well as their partners from government and civil society. The training focused on equipping practitioners with the skills needed to build effective cross sector partnerships and promoting awareness of partnerships within the UN system. The programme also included a training of trainers programme, which equipped the UN system to internally build capacity to partner.

Alumni of the programme are now invited to register for the Certificate in Partnering Practice, which is designed to extend participant’s training through self reflective learning.

The certificate also demonstrates externally that the holder has achieved a certain level of knowledge of partnering standards and competency in cross-sector partnering. To gain certification, each participant will submit a reflective essay to demonstrate partnering knowledge and, most importantly, contextualization of the learning from the course within their own situation. For further information, including how to register please see our Training section.
