Business Fights Poverty NYC 2018: Rethinking collaboration for the SDGs

Business Fights Poverty, Barclays and GSK are hosting a day-long event on 24th September 2018 on the theme of Rethinking collaboration for the SDGs.  The event, with TPI as a supporting partner, will take place during the UN General Assembly Week, and will convene a select audience of around 100 professionals from business and the international development community to explore the theme of scaling business impact for the SDGs.

The event will combine inspiring plenary sessions with deep-dive working lunches. Confirmed speakers include The Rt Hon Penny Mordaunt MP, UK Secretary of State for International Development, Travis Barnes, Co-Head of Global Debt Capital Markets and Risk Solutions Group, Barclays, Rogerio Ribeiro, Senior Vice President of Global Health, GSK and Shamina Singh, President, Center for Inclusive Growth, Mastercard.

The event supporting partners include the UK’s Department for International Development, the Harvard Kennedy School Corporate Responsibility Initiative, the UN Foundation, the Business Council for the UN, the UN Office for Partnerships, UNDP’s Business Call to Action, The World Business Council for Sustainable Development, The League of Intrapreneurs, The Partnering Initiative and Be Inspired Films.
