Increasing the impact of partnership practitioners in Poland
10 November 2009
The Partnering Initiative (TPI) has teamed up with the Polish Environmental Partnership Foundation (PEPF) and its national network of Partnership Groups to develop a Polish-language training course on “Cross-sector partnerships for sustainable development”.
The course will draw together, and make more widely available to Polish partnership practitioners, the experience of both TPI and PEPF gained over the past decade with local and global cross-sector partnerships. Currently in the development phase, the course will be offered in January 2010.
The course is part of a more strategic effort on the part of TPI to increase the effectiveness and impact of cross-sector partnerships in speeding the transition to a a more sustainable economy and society in Poland and other countries of Central & East Europe. The course, along with related support activities for partnership practitioners operating in Poland, is to lead to establishing a Partnership Resource Centre (PRC) enhancing partnering skills, competencies and capabilities of individuals and organisations working as partners in the Central & East European region.
